Dr. Kwan Nok Chan
Assistant Dean (Teaching & Learning) of Social Sciences
Associate Professor of Politics and Public Administration
Dr. Chan’s primary research concerns the institutions that shape the consumption and distortion of information in different organizational settings. His current research explores how bureaucrats handle information and the impact of institutions on their choices.
Ongoing projects deal with different aspects of bureaucratic control in authoritarian regimes, such as administrative oversight, juridical intervention, internal reporting, and legislative decision-making.
Dr. Chan holds a PhD Degree in Public Policy from the O’Neill School of Public and Environment Affairs and the Department of Political Science, Indiana University Bloomington.
Linda Chan
Cofounder of sehji
Linda Chan is a Hong Kong-based corporate finance lawyer and business executive with over a decade of experience in the legal industry. Qualified in Hong Kong since 2008, She has advised clients on cross-border transactions, initial public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. In 2016, Linda joined a legal-tech startup in Hong Kong, where she served as Head of Product.
In 2020, Linda cofounded sehji, a funding application institute that assists social innovation projects and art and cultural organisations in obtaining public and private funding. She is also legal advisor and executive committee member of Fullness Social Enterprises Society (豐盛社企學會), a charitable institution and one of the four intermediaries engaged by Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund in nurturing social innovation projects.
Linda was a visiting lecturer at PolyU SPEED and taught Management of Social Enterprise in 2022. She has also given guest lectures at HKU SPACE, CUHK, HKUST and Caritas Institute of Higher Education. In 2022 and 2023, Linda serves as COO & General Counsel at Forbole, a Proof-of-Stake blockchain validator.
Linda’s expertise in corporate finance, social entrepreneurship, and Web3 technology has made her a sought-after speaker on topics related to social innovation and digital transformation. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Hong Kong in 2005 and completed her PCLL in 2006.

Sankar Villupuram
Director for Advanced Digital Engineering, Digital Services Leader (East Asia), Arup
Mr Villupuram holds the responsibility of leading Digital Services for Arup in East Asia. He has over 23 years of experience in design and implementation of transformational smart operational solutions leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) and data analytics across various domains viz. construction, police, customs, casinos, property, cargo terminals etc. He has managed several landmark projects in Hong Kong and gained extensive multidisciplinary experience in bid to strategic delivery. His probono work includes Co-President position at the Hong Kong Internet of Things Alliance and serving Project Management Institute (Hong Kong Chapter Board).
Sankar has led city wide “intelligent transportation system and automatic fare collection system” at Davao, Philippines, defining “Data governance and IT Security policy” for underground utility information system for Lands Department (HK), construction noise management system for Environment protection department (HK), Geo-spatial analytics for Asian Development Bank to analyze “Social and Environmental impact assessment” and many other smart building projects across HK, China, Macau, Philippines.
Mr Villupuram holds MBA (HKUST) with a bachelor’s in electrical & electronics Engineering. He is a professionally qualified CPIT (Project Director), PMP, CISA & CISM. He has completed the executive course from MIT on Innovation & Leadership apart from being awarded “Value Driven CXO” by INSEAD, INTEL & HPE in 2019.
Bosco Leung
Social Responsibility Lead
Bosco Leung serves as the Social Responsibility Lead at MTR. He began his career at the company as a management trainee, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the UK. Bosco became widely recognized for launching the MTR Mobile app series, which garnered over 20 regional and local awards during the early stages of his career.
In addition to his accomplishments, Bosco has spearheaded various corporate innovation initiatives within the Corporate Strategy and Global Innovation departments. Notable achievements include pioneering collaborations such as #propUP corporate accelerator program, internal startup weekends, global innovation exchanges for overseas hubs, and the development of MTR’s inaugural internal startup, “Doughnut Bus.”
Bosco also actively supports the community by serving as a mentor and judge in programs such as SIE fund, Jumpstarter IdeaPOP!, JA Company Program, and the DBS Foundation Social Enterprise Capacity Building Program Pitching Day. He has been invited to speak at prestigious events including Service Design Hong Kong, StartmeupHK festival, Jumpstarter, and the Hong Kong Design Center Unleash Design thinking Forum.
Since joining the ESG team in 2022, Bosco’s focus has been on driving multiple social programs and sponsorships while shaping MTR’s social priorities. He has successfully led various new initiatives, including MTR’s first Social Inclusion Week, ESG Project Allies Programme with NGO and Social Enterprises, the Gender Equity Network and Male Allies Program, the EmpowerZ traineeship pilot scheme for ethnic minorities and people with disabilities, Train for Life Journey 2.0 with Social Innovation Challenge, and the establishment and management of MTR’s Internal ESG Fund.
Daniel Seah
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Digital Domain Holdings Limited
As the CEO of Digital Domain, Daniel Seah brings a dynamic, effective, and influential leadership to overseeing all facets of the global organization including growth strategies, and development trajectories. Seah played a vital role in leading Digital Domain’s innovation and patented technologies that revolutionized VFX and immersive experiences, including Virtual Human technology allowing for cutting-edge visual effects to be completed on multiple Hollywood tentpole films such as Avengers: Infinity War, Ready Player One, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, to name a few.
Notably, Seah in 2018 founded the Digital Human Research Lab, a standalone Digital Human Division serving to focus on the research and development of cutting-edge AI technologies to support and push the boundaries of the virtual human field.
Having studied at Peking University earning a B.A. and a master’s degree of Law, Seah began his career working at Barclays Bank as an investment expert in securities, options, fund management, and global enterprise expansion. Phoebe Poon

Cathie So
Chief Scientist, ORA
Dr. Cathie So dove into Web3 as the founding tutor of Zero-Knowledge University, onboarding numerous developers into ZK. With a background as a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation and a wealth of experience speaking at various conferences on zkML, she now serves as the Chief Scientist at ORA.
Joseph Chan
Chairman of Fullness Social Venture
Joseph is an accomplished finance executive and impact investor with over 30 years of experience spanning the commercial, non-profit, and social enterprise sectors.
As a seasoned corporate and investment banker, Joseph held senior roles in structured finance, portfolio management, and corporate finance at major financial institutions. He successfully executed transactions in mergers, acquisitions, fundraising transactions, and capital raises partnering with leading corporations, funds, and institutions.
Joseph served for over 6 years as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of a publicly-listed company. He provided strategic leadership for all aspects of financial planning, reporting, capital management, and investor relations. During his tenure, Joseph led the raising of US$1.1 billion through innovative corporate finance strategies and onboarding international strategic shareholders.
Since 2016, Joseph has dedicated his expertise to driving social impact. As Honorary Chief Executive of an investment fund’s charitable foundation for 5 years, he stewarded its philanthropic mission. Currently, Joseph focuses on impact investing and business-as-mission initiatives to empower underserved communities in Hong Kong and overseas.
He co-founded impact investment platforms that have generated meaningful employment for marginalized groups. Joseph also co-invested in and advised social enterprises like a restaurant creating jobs for ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. His hands-on guidance helped the restaurant create 35 jobs and achieve a 40% annual social return on investment.
As an advisor, Joseph works closely with social entrepreneurs on coaching, capacity building, and access to impact capital. He helps financial technology companies evaluate their ESG footprint and engage international impact investors. Throughout his career, Joseph has leveraged his business acumen and values to make sustainable impact.
Anson Suen
CEO, FundPark
Mr. Anson Suen is the Co-Founder and CEO of FundPark, a Hong Kong-based Asia online trade finance platform to connect unbanked and underbanked SMEs with institutional investors. Since its establishment in 2016, FundPark has provided over US$2 billion in funding to over 16,500 underserved businesses. In January 2024, FundPark secured US$500 million in one of the largest asset-backed securitisation facility deals in Asia led by Goldman Sachs as arranger and senior lender.
FundPark harnesses AI technology, data analysis and its proprietary risk-management platform to help small-to-medium sized eCommerce enterprises secure working capital loans and extend financial inclusion to address the world’s growing $2.5 trillion trade finance gap.
Before co-founding FundPark in 2016, Mr. Suen worked in Commodities Trade Department in HSBC overseeing a lending portfolio of more than USD500 million focusing on trade finance products. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong with Quantitative Finance major.
Hampton Tao
Web3 Investor, Programme Manager at C.F. & Nancy Tao Family Foundation
Hampton serves as Investment Manager at New Heritage Investments Limited and Programme Manager at C.F. & Nancy Tao Family Foundation. He is responsible for managing a multi-strategy digital asset portfolio. He is also passionate about harnessing technology for social impact and actively backing crypto-native, impact-oriented founders at the earliest stages of their journey. Previously, he served as an Associate at Creative Ventures, a deep tech venture capital firm investing in companies solving problems arising from three secular trends: labour shortage, aging population, and climate crisis. Prior to that, he helped grow a Hong Kong e-commerce startup from Series B fundraising till shortly before it sold to the largest TV network in Hong Kong. Hampton holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a proud graduate of St. Paul’s Co-educational College.
Lillian Li
Executive Director of Social Impact Partners
Lillian has been an experienced professional in impact investing, charity, and startup management since 2008. She currently holds the positions of Executive Director at Social Impact Partners and co-founder of Time Capsule. Lillian has previously served as Chief Executive and Director at different local charities and social enterprises. Before her involvement in the social impact sector, she held management and marketing roles in retail and manufacturing. Lillian’s expertise extends beyond her professional experience, as she has also contributed as a committee/board member, judge, and mentor for organizations and programs focusing on social innovation, business, and youth development.
Ted Kwan
Cofounder and Chief Executive of Fullness Social Enterprises Society
Ted started his career in real estate development and equity analysis, he specializes in investment and asset valuation. He founded the Hong Kong Investment Training Institute in 2007 and is one the most experienced CFA trainers in Hong Kong. He also conducted research on property market and feasibility study on investment projects. He was once acted as consultant to MTRC and Hong Kong Airport Authority.
Ted is the Director of Fullness Christian Social Enterprise Ltd. (豐盛社會企業有限公司), aiming to provide vocational training for youth-at-risk in Hong Kong, which received the Outstanding Social Enterprise Award 2011 from the Hong Kong Government.
He is an expert in social impact measurement. In 2016, he wrote the first of such book for the Social Enterprises World Forum held in Hong Kong. From 2018 to 2022, he is the Project Director and Principal Trainer of the Jockey Club Fullness Social Impact Measurement Coaching Scheme, which trained more than 70 NGOs and 100 social projects.
He is a CFA charterholder, a Certificate holder in ESG Investing and a columnist in Eduplus Magazine. He received the Decennary Award from Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (now renamed as CFA Society Hong Kong) in 2011.
Ted earned his first degree in Hong Kong and subsequently a master’s degree in National University of Singapore.
